Her body was breaking down faster than it could be cured. It was over for her: she was dying.
Should she have lived happier? Warmer? More fashionable even? Sadly, her totally unanticipated death happened too quickly, denying her the luxury of final contemplation.
As candlelight snuffed by the wind, she wasn’t mourned. She died, alone.
